Double World Biketrial champion, European champion, winner of Biketrial World Indoor Cup, Asian champion and 20 times Czech champion, promoter of cycling and the most experienced bike riding instructor. Josef published countless number of articles in bike magazines, newspapers and websites. Also wrote a few books such as Škola kola (2002 and 2013) and EnCYKLOpedie (2003), produced teaching video tape called Golden Bike (2000). Teacher of bicycle riding in Velo revue magazine, presenter of cycling races and Junior Trophy series at Kolo pro život bike series, presenter of TV shows Cyklisté a chodci (2010), Rozum nebo Extrém (2011) and S ČT Sport na vrchol (2014). Kolo pro život bikepark designer, instructor at many cycling events and festivals. A mentor of Junior World and European Biketrial champion Laco Janoška and World Biketrial vice-champion Jan Musil.
I finished riding competitions in 2005 and since that time I focused mainly on doing demos and shows and also doing my hobbies - motorcycles. I took a part in Czech motorcycle trials championship and made it up into top 20. I also fancy enduro and road racing on short circuits. Few years later I missed my bike and decided to come back to push bikes in 2011. I tried various bikes and terrains and enjoyed it a lot. In autumn 2011 I organized my first Weekend Camp and I enjoyed mentoring regular cyclists so much. With applying experiences from riding motorbikes I've been learning to new things as well. I learned to learn others even better and I discovered lots of troubles of regular cyclists. In the following years I set up even more Weekend Camps and people on other events and took care of kids at Kolo pro život series. In 2013 I tried MTB Enduro at the biggest Czech Enduro series called Specialized Enduro series and took 15th place in final ranking. In December of 2013 I published my latest booke called Škola kola in collaboration with Markéta Navrátilová photographer. It was lots of work and also experiences with my students. And the wheels of life keeps on turning..
